These kids did a great job tonight and had a good time!  Thanks Lyndon Wang (Orchestra Director) for hosting such a great event at your school, and Mrs. Meghan Beaudry for teaching our little ones; you two make a great husband/wife team.

When we got home from the Children's Christmas program at church, Ella wanted us to re enact, so she could be baby Jesus.  And of course, it needed to happen in kid time...right now.  Troy grabbed a towel and some rope, I grabbed a scarf from her dress-up bin,  Dag was hooded in her sheep blanket, and Ella was wrapped in swaddling clothing and laid in the manger.

Season of Sadness...

A family grieving the loss of such a remarkable man, husband, son, brother, teacher, friend, and life-long learner.  We all feel cheated that he was taken from us so young and unexpectedly--yet we are grateful to have had him in our lives for the time we had.  His greatest gifts were his knowledge, compassion, and love of family and teaching, and I was always so proud to call him my brother-in-law.
