What started out as the creation of a special art piece for Nawnie's upcoming birthday, turned in to an expression of inner self--and yet, another glorious mess.

Driveway Paint

On a Sunday afternoon...

During her nap, Dad prepared a little kid-friendly driveway paint (equal parts corn starch and water--and food color or liquid watercolor).  

When she woke up, they headed outside for a little water blaster driveway painting.

While mom's away, Dad and Ella play!

Things we do after nap time...

Ella led activity....  I rarely use the bottom oven, and it is perfect height for her pretend play.  We always touch the oven door first to make sure its not hot before opening;).

I think she thinks the oven door serves as a Murphy table, since she pulled up a chair!

I had a recently expired can of whipped cream, and she had a great time with the texture.
