Our afternoon guest

Meet Buzz Bee, the busy bee.

If you could have heard her making music in the jar, you'd know why we named her that.  What a noisy little creature.

We enjoyed having her around this afternoon.  Our olive jar was quickly turned into a makeshift bee house and filled with the flowers we found her buzzing around.

Ella was pretty good with the hammer; only missed once--and got my hand. 

We returned Buzz Bee back to her fragrant playground after talking a little bit about bees:  how they can sting and how they make the honey we eat in the morning.

It was a bee friendly experience.
