Celebrating

Today we're celebrating Troy's 45th birthday.  He never asks for much, but he did specify German Chocolate cake when I asked him what he'd like for dessert.  I scoured the internet for cake recipes and came up with the following:  http://easybaked.net/2011/10/12/german-chocolate-cookie-bites/.  His sister-in-law gave me a fabulous artery clogging frosting recipe (will post soon).

German Chocolate double decker cookies...yum!

Spending the evening with my best friend and her husband.  Steaks are on the grill.  Another thankful year to celebrate.
