Healthy Way Dairy

Cows!  Thirty-five of them.  All needing to be milked; calves needing to be fed--twice a day. There was something exciting about being a part of their night-time feeding on this cold, dark January evening.  Ella loved roaming about the farm, traipsing through the mud and helping feed the babies.  

And, what gracious owners to allow visitors to observe, participate and pay for your goods using the good-old-fashion honor system.  It's the Healthy Way Dairy--a licensed raw cow milk dairy tucked away in Santa Fe.

Half gallon from Sugar and another half gallon from Annabel (in honor of my mom's birthday today).  Waiting for it to chill....
