Our Daughter's Not a Werewolf

Our daughter's not a werewolf.
Although it appears that way.
She cuts those beady brown eyes.
Ten thousand times in a day.

Her clothes are worn and mismatched.
Her body is sprouting hair.
She's growing like a werewolf.
And growls like a grizzly bear.

If you should ever meet her.
Hanging in her scary den.
You'll know she's not a werewolf
She is only turning ten!

Socking Around the Christmas Tree

Forget ugly Christmas sweaters...and bring on ugly socks.  These girls had a blast giggling and creating a style all their on.

A little pre party shenanigans while waiting on friends to arrive...

Raiding the hot chocolate bar while awaiting the results
Results are in...

Let's gather again next year girls for the 2nd Annual Ugly Christmas Socking Around the Tree Party--a party with a purpose, including a simple way to serve those in need! For 23 years, I worked in a hospital where there was always a need for slipper socks at Christmas time.  Let's have fun, spread some warmth, and remember the world is much bigger than our little sphere.

Poetry and Teatime

Propelled by the heat of tea lights

If you cannot be a poet, be the poem.  David Carradine
