Thank you Grand Chaille...Ella and Dag both love your gingerbread--hence the modified house/manger;).

(Of course there wasn't one all-inclusive family picture, but wonderful celebration with brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins;)

And...Adopted Family!

Yep, that was what was in the box...an infrared, remote control dinosaur!

As we celebrated His birth and settled in with family and friends, our Christmas was merry and magical.
Hope yours was, too!

Dickens On The Strand

Galveston's World Famous 41st Victorian Holiday Festival
All Hail Her Majesty, The Queen!
Highlight of the night...playing with the pipers
For you Vickie Ladner...
Until next year, a "nod to the ghost of Dickens past and an eye towards the future."

Gratitude

With so much to be thankful for, this year I decided to make a gratitude leaf garland with little pockets--perfect of tucking away notes of thanks to be read together at the table.

What a treat it was to hear aloud so many things that fill our hearts and lives with gratitude.  To share a few...

 Beautiful days
Smiles and fur babies
 Trees to climb
 Forbidden fruit
Fish to feed...and SO MUCH MORE.

"Don't let the sun go down on you" without letting your family and friends know how lucky you feel to have them in your lives.
A hearty and heartfelt thanks to all of you.  We love you!
