During meals, we sometimes talk about how the food Ella eats travels from the mouth down the food pipe and into the stomach. Yesterday when she ate a grape, I heard her say, "in my mouth, down my throat, and to my stomach, bye bye."
Seemed like a perfect time to expand a bit in a fun, personal way. We used a few "My Body" books found at a local thrift store as guides--and the outline of Ella's body as a map.
P.S. My hubby came up with the title...pretty clever, Troy!
