Dickens On The Strand

From pirates to the queen and lots of fun in between...

Receiving a pence from the Queen

The chilly temps and sting of the wind kept the crowds, vendors and entertainment to a minimum this year, but what a perfect night for bundling, hot chocolate, kettle corn, and chasing bagpipes.

Meet Dragonfly

Today is Ella's Thanksgiving feast at school, and she was super excited to go dressed as a little indian girl.  When she walked into the schoolhouse, one of the teachers said, "oh, you look like Pocahontas" to which she replied, "I am Dragonfly."  So here you go...meet Dragonfly.

Gone are the days where everything in our house remains in its place and clutter free; now, our girl's crafty creations help make our house a home.

Hope you had a safe and happy Halloween!

Costumes aren’t just for Halloween! Ella plays dress-up most every day, and I love it when she assumes a new identity at the drop of a hat;).

Tonight she fell asleep an hour before our neighborhood hayride and woke up uber crabby.  So, instead of dressing up, she went as the pouty LIttle Miss Spooktacular.
Once she figured out how the whole Halloween hayride worked, she came home with smiles and a bucket full of candy (**sigh**).

And, after one small box of nerds, she donned her cowgirl hat and boots, gave me a big yeehaw howdy partner, and informed me I was her "blue ribbon winning horse, named Sugar;)"

Let the magic of dress up continue...
