cELLAbrating 15!

The past couple weeks have been a blur planning, preparing, packing, playing, cELLAbrating.

Ella played at three different events

her birthday weekend.

We left immediately after her last event on a RV trip to Branson.

We arrived in Branson in time to visit with our favorite Treasure Lake Ella B fan, celebrate Halloween, Ella  B’s “Gotcha Day”, catch a Sons of Britches show, and play some tunes with the amazing champion fiddler, Louis Darby.

The weather was rainy for days, ponds were full, grounds were soggy, but we kept moving and enjoyed:
Big Cedar Lodge
Visited Bass Pro Shop in Springfield (which was ginormous, decorated for Christmas, and had grizzlies:)

Took a quick, rainy driving tour through College of the Ozarks (Ella loved the campus and would definitely consider). I don’t want to think about this yet, though.  My favorite was the Scripture Garden...

Enjoyed the one-of-a-king Sight and Sound performance of The Miracle of Christmas...

Tuned in to the Presidential Election Watch Party

Drove through Christmas Lights

Antiqued, played pickle ball, visited friends, enjoyed cool weather, fall colors, and family time.

Troy made a gazillion trips to Lowe’s and Home Depot to secure parts for various Motor Coach issues that arose after our arrival (thankfully). They say coaches are earthquakes on wheels—and they are absolutely correct—but it’s definitely a fun way to roll.  My problem-solver husband squeezed himself into places he never dreamed imaginable, but here we are rolling down the road headed back to the great state of Texas!  He is driving, Ella is riding shotgun (Plus, I’m almost positive she is deafening her ears with Rock and Roll;), and I’m attending to their in-route service needs/blogging;).

Always fun to travel and explore, but there is truly no place like home.
