One of the most heartwarming gifts had nothing to do with music, and everything to do with this beautifully sweet couple who has shared seventy-two years together. They may currently be separated by care units (she’s in memory care; he’s in assisted living), but his heart still overflows with his love for her. He never stopped doting on and touching her in the hour and a half we were there. This blessing doesn’t come around often, and what a joy it was to witness!
