The Autumn

There is something so deliciously exciting about fall.  Maybe its the taste of hot apple cinnamon tea on a cool Texas morning OR the sound of crackling leaves underfoot OR even the warmth of your favorite sweater liberated from storage.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning beautifully captures this season with her "musing heart" in today's poetry read, "The Autumn."

She taps into the sadness of summer's end and our struggle with change, but ends with an open-armed embrace to autumn and the winter creeping in its wake.

Happy Fall!
