Fever

If she can't beat the fever right now, at least she can better understand why it makes her feel so crummy.  Ella's fever started on Monday and still hovers around 102/104.  After meds, lots of liquids, and two visits to the doctor's office, she's more familiar with the tools in her doc kit.  I added a few items based on her recent visits, and I'm almost certain Dag and I will be her afternoon patients.

Making a thermometer...
Eating magic pills (jelly beans) and a "medicinal" organic O's bracelet...

Bandaids always help boo boo's heal fast...
Checking Dag's ears with her "light scope"...

Okay, this is where the activity took a different turn.  Yesterday, the nurse put on gloves before she drew blood from Ella's toe.  So, I stuck a pair of gloves in her doc kit while she was sleeping.  Once she put them on, she told me to...

"go potty"... I'm thinking what does potty have to do with gloves and getting your blood drawn, right???
It took me a minute to realize the aides at school use gloves when the kids go potty;).

On a brighter note, we did awake to a beautiful bouquet of tropicals and a sweet note from daddy!  Flowers always make girls feel better;).
