Colors

Yesterday we learned about the color red and walked around the house collecting any red items we could find to put in our basket.  She still wants to call every color "blue," though;).

I found these big books on colors at a thrift store, but they originally came from Lakeshore Learning.  I like them because the words about the color in the book are set to a familiar kid's song.  Each color has a different tune;  red is sung to the tune, "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round."
